Spruce House is the quintessential Telluride abode. This exquisite, brand-new four-bedroom property will make you the envy of your friends on your Telluride vacation. This home retains all of the charm of Telluride by adhering to the town's Victorian era architecture, while offering guests a host of modern amenities and a chic, contemporary interior. This private home is set approximately 50 yards off Colorado Avenue (Main Street), giving you enviable access to everything Telluride has to offer in winter and summer; skiing, restaurants, shopping, hiking trails and festivals are all literally at your doorstep.
Upon entering Spruce House, you are welcomed into the home's foyer where there is a seating bench and closet for you to make yourself at home. Antique chestnut floors and off-white walls create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. On the left of the foyer is a cozy library with a camel-colored sofa and a flat-screen TV. This sofa folds out to a queen-sized sofa bed. The den also has its own private bathroom, so this area could be made into an additional private sleeping room. Next to the den is the king-sized master suite. The master suite has a walk-in closet, and a huge marble bathroom with a steam shower and free-standing tub. The master suite also has French doors that open onto a small deck.
The upper level of the home is occupied entirely by an impeccably stylish, open plan great room. The great room has lofty vaulted ceilings and countless windows framing impossibly perfect views of Ajax Peak, Bear Creek, and the front side of the ski resort. There is a full gourmet kitchen with brand-new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, two dishwashers and a TV. There is a dining table for ten, as well as a chic seating area surrounding a gas fireplace. There are two decks on either end of the great room – one facing east and the other facing west.
On the lower level of the home there are two additional guest suites and a TV watching area. One of the guest suites has two single beds and a private bathroom with a shower. The other guest suite has a king-sized bed and a private bathroom with a combined shower/tub. There is a TV room in the communal area of this lower level, with a large L-shaped sofa surrounding a flat screen TV. This sofa can also fold out to a queen sleeper sofa if required. There is also a laundry room on the lower level.
