Nelson Gay is a beautiful, colonial style villa  built in the 1950s.  Designed in the colonial style, this villa presents an elegant coral stone Palladian mansion siting on two acres of lush gardens. Originally built for a US Ambassador and friend of President F.D. Roosevelt, the property has been kept up to date with modern amenities and features many antiques and works of art, including an Erté mural and a fine collection of Haitian paintings. Built all on one level, Nelson Gay is ideal and safe for children, and the 50’ pool can be fenced off if required. The many family-friendly features include a veritable treasure-trove of toys, PS3, games, foosball and a vast collection of about 400 DVD’s. In addition, there are two ‘Chattel Houses’ in the garden. These quaint accommodations are ideal for teenagers and can sleep 2-3 with en-suite bathrooms.

The main house hosts five bedrooms while the estate hosts one more located in the guest cottage. Nelson Gay has an elegant style with all the modern amenities. This sophisticated property has plenty of room to entertain and relax.  Nelson Gay's full staff is ready to serve meals under the covered terrace or in the gazebo where the views are amazing. Nelson Gay comes with a full staff that is dedicated and prepared to make your stay ideal. Sit back, relax and let them cater to your every need. The Garden Gazebo features a wet bar and fridge, able to seat up to 14 – a wonderful place for sunset cocktails and leisurely meals cooled by the ocean breeze.  A dining table on the partly covered terrace can seat up to 20, while the formal dining area can accommodate 12 at its Oliver Messel designed table, with French antique chairs and a large Messell mirror.
