Cyrano

Cyrano is a lovely Creole style cottage overlooking the tranquil pond of Terres Basses, surrounded by lush mangroves. A beautiful green lawn flows from the villa and terrace down to the pond. Beautiful sea grape and palm trees create shaded spots. Colorful tropical shrubs and flowers dot the lawn. It is a gentle and relaxing place. The main house is filled with charming Caribbean touches with a contemporary twist. The exterior’s soft grey and white colors and Creole flourishes well suit the tropical green setting. It is a very well curated villa, both inside and outside, filled with interesting colors, textures and décor. The overall mood is serene. The terraces are defined with travertine tiles. A large pool sits at the edge of the terrace and lawn. A spacious gazebo and deep verandahs provide generous covered spaces for dining and lounging. Stylish white wick furniture, adorned with interesting fabrics and colors, invite you to relax.

Softly diffused light and views of the pond and gardens filter into the open plan great room through the sliding glass doors. Terracotta floors run throughout the interior. Comfortable, stylish furniture mixed with teak and rattan pieces fills the living area. Designer fabrics in deeply textured cream and tan are touched with turquoise, brown and teal. Well selected art and accessories complement the design. Textured woods, steel and shots of color define the well-equipped kitchen. It is a true cook’s kitchen with a wonderful mix of china and glassware, cookware and spices. And it has a view. The dining area sits next to the kitchen. 

Two bedrooms are off the great room. Equal size, each room has a calm and peaceful atmosphere in white fabrics, touches of color and pretty design compliments. Both have garden and pond views and spa style en-suite bathrooms in travertine tiles with stylish chrome fixtures. 

The master suite, with views of the gardens and pond, is in a separate wing off the terrace. The mood is Zen in a mix of teak wood and white and lime fabrics and accessories. Travertine tiles and chrome fixtures define the spa style en-suite bathroom. A built-in wine fridge is perfect for your champagne.  

Although quite secluded you are a 5-minute walk to Baie Longue Beach and 5-minute drive to Cupecoy Beach or 10 minutes to the fantastic Mullet Bay Beach. You are a short drive to Baie Nettle’s fabulous restaurants and 10 minutes to the charming French capital of Marigot with restaurants, the Creole Market, galleries and shopping. And the best part you are only a 10-minute drive from the International airport.
