Evangeline at Jumby Bay

Located on the southeastern side of the island, Evangeline is a lovely tropical estate with views of Buckley Bay. Mirroring the color of the Caribbean Sea, the home’s signature aqua-hued doors and windows greet guests on arrival. A soft palette of simple and fresh whites, neutrals and blues is carried throughout the light and airy home, complementing chic furnishings and an eclectic artwork collection which is, like Longfellow’s Evangeline, both curious and courageous.
Guests are welcomed to Evangeline through a central courtyard with lounge seating and koi ponds to an open great room with spacious seating areas and wrapping verandahs. This room flows out to the pool deck which offers a sweeping panoramic view of the sea, and large cantilevered umbrellas that shade comfortable teak chaises. A nearby dining gazebo seats ten, with an additional outdoor dining area and BBQ courtyard located off the kitchen. Three of the residence’s guestrooms are master suites. The largest is located in the west wing and features a four-poster bed, wet bar, two terraces, indoor and outdoor showers, and an outdoor tub for two. The master in the east wing offers a four-poster bed, terrace, and outdoor shower and soaking tub. The third master, featuring an open wet room shower and soaking tub for two, is located on the home’s second level, along with a king-bedded room and a children’s room with two twin beds and window seat that can double as a third twin. The upstairs rooms open to a relaxing verandah terrace.
